Courtney (who writes as Delphina) is a 25-year-old graduate of Westmont College, having obtained her B.A. in English, with an emphasis in creative writing. She is currently spending her time writing Guardian Ghost as well as her new novel, Prophetic Mistakes, playing her XBox 360, and selling all of her possessions on Ebay. She can be found frequenting Facebook, Twitter, is a proud Nerdfighter, and frequents text-based roleplaying games known as MU*s. She is in the final editing process of the novel she wrote in 2005 for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) soon to be published on Amazon as an ebook. She is also deeply interested in mythology, pirates, and pretty much everything from the fantasy genre (except Eragon–don’t ever bring up Eragon). If you were to ask her what her favorite word was, she would tell you that it was “epic”.
Tahlia (who writes as Cassandra) is a recent graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. She and Courtney first teamed up in the fall of 2008 when a wildfire at their college forced students to evacuate and she went home with Courtney for three weeks. The style of Guardian Ghost (Originally, called simply, “The Letter Game”) was inspired by the book Sorcery and Cecelia by Patricia Wrede and Caroline Stevermer.
Tahlia has had several short stories published on FairyTaleMagazine.com and has been querying agents with her young adult sci-fi novel Ready for Anything. She loves murder mysteries, theater (watching/acting/directing), and watching Doctor Who or Deadliest Catch in her free time.
